Bookkeeping
Reconciled weekly, reported monthly, and ready at year-end. Bookkeeping done by the same firm that lodges your tax.
Overview
Books that are current, not catch-up
Bookkeeping that runs a quarter behind is a record, not a tool. You cannot price a job, chase a debtor or decide on a hire from a ledger that stops in April. And every hour spent reconstructing a year at tax time is billed back to you at accounting rates rather than bookkeeping rates.
We reconcile weekly, chase the coding questions while people still remember the transaction, and send you a management pack each month that shows profit, cash and who owes you what. Because the same firm prepares your BAS and your tax return, nothing has to be re-explained and there is no clean-up fee in July.
How we help
- 01
Weekly bank reconciliation
Every account reconciled weekly, with coding questions raised while the transaction is still fresh.
- 02
Accounts payable and receivable
Supplier bills scheduled, customer invoices tracked, and an aged debtor list you can actually act on.
- 03
Monthly management pack
Profit and loss, balance sheet, cash position and debtor ageing, with a short note on what changed.
- 04
Payroll integration
Wages, superannuation and leave flowing straight into the ledger, so your BAS and STP reporting agree.
- 05
Year-end ready ledgers
Accounts closed and reconciled as we go, so there is no clean-up fee at tax time.

Books behind by a few months?
We take on catch-up work as a fixed-fee project, then keep it current from there.
FAQ
Bookkeeping questions
Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks. We are certified advisors on all three. If you are already on one of them we work in your file rather than migrating you; if you are starting fresh we recommend based on how you invoice and pay staff.
Weekly for bank reconciliation and payables, monthly for the full management pack. Businesses with high transaction volumes or tight cash positions sometimes move to twice weekly. We agree the rhythm before we start.
Bank feed access, your invoices and receipts (photographed into the software is fine), and a reply when we query a transaction. That is the whole obligation. Everything else sits with us.
Yes. Catch-up and clean-up work is quoted as a fixed-fee project once we have looked at the file. We correct prior-period GST errors through the current BAS where the ATO allows it, rather than revising every statement.
A bookkeeper records what happened. An accountant tells you what it means and lodges the returns. Here they sit in the same firm under the same Chartered Accountant, so the recording is done with the reporting in mind.
